A TON of pictures

Okay, so this is really a bit overboard on pictures, but I can't help it. I can't resist taking a ton of pics of my kiddos, and they were just especially cute yesterday!! It has been pretty hot here, in the high 90's so we got out the kids pool. The water was absolutley freezing!! Ella was not exactly impressed. Here are the pics......

Looking pretty in her new Elmo
bathing suit!

So beautiful!

Strong girl pushing mommy's habit
across the floor.

He hee, the pool is fun!

Holy cow, that is freezing!

Get me out of here!!!

Ha ha, much more fun on the outside.

He is telling me how fast he went
down a slide.

We got Ella out a rubbermaid and filled
it with warm water.

Much happier!

Boo-hoo face at eachother.

Kisses!!

and hugs!

When is a rubber ducky cool to a 4 year old? When he can squirt his
parents with it!

Strong man.

She climbed up in this chair by herself
and was quite proud!

So lady like!

I thought this was so cute. She took off walking down the hall at our apartments, she seems so big to me but this puts it into perspective, she is just a tiny baby! My little Ella Grace is 22 months today. In 2 months she will be 2 years old. Wow. I will have to sit down and write out all of her recent accomplishments soon. She is so amazing!

Quote

We attended an Appreciation Dinner for Ella's school, Spokane Guild School, last Wednesday night. It was pretty nice, they hold it to honor volunteers and people who donate money to the school etc. During the event they had a slide show of some of the kids at the school, it was really sweet. The best part was the opening prayer. They had a young man (I think they said he is 21) with Down syndrome come up and say the prayer. He thanked God for his girlfriend (who also has Ds) which of course made me cry! He spoke so well, it was really uplifting for me to hear him. I wanted to share this quote, I don't know the name of the man that said it, but he was giving a little speech after receiving an award, he said....

"Children who struggle here on Earth will be our leaders in Heaven and should be treated as such."

Of course I was crying. Well, I will leave you with a few pictures of my beautiful baby girl. She got a new nightgown this weekend. I have wanted her to wear one since the day she turned one. I don't know why it was such a big deal to me, but I would see my friends little girl who is the same age in a nightgown and I would be sad. Ella couldn't wear one because it got in the way of her crawling, so it was a reminder to me of her delays. I know it's kind of a stupid thing to set you off, but I couldn't help it. Anyhow, since my big girl started walking I had to get her a nightgown at Walmart and she wore it for the first time tonight!

Holding the "Ellie Belly"

She can stop walking, bend over, pick something up, stand back up and keep on
walking. So big.

Terrible Two's strike early!!
Just kidding, but she does have
a temper!!!

Dancing

Okay, I have another video to share! Chris was given one of those greeting cards that plays music yesterday for graduation from the police academy. Ella is obsessed with those kind of cards. Yesterday we were playing around with it and she started dancing. We must have done it over and over again for at least a half an hour. It is the cutest thing, the video of course does it no justice but it's still pretty cute! Of course Hunter was in on the fun so here you go....

First T-Ball Game

Tonight was Hunter's first T-ball game, it was SO cute. What a game! I was exhausted by the end of it, wrangling those kids was no easy task! Hunter is the tiniest guy on his team but he does good! He had fun and that is all that matters!! The game was a little long though. By the 3rd inning (which take forever) I was standing out in the outfield with the kids and Hunter asked if he could hold me (which is Hunter talk for he wants me to hold him.) It was sweet. Especially right now, we have had all this company and now my parents are living with us so old boring mom is last on the popularity list. It was good to be wanted even though it was because he was exhausted!! Of course we took tons of pictures and of course I have to share them!! So here they are.....

Before we left.

Really concentrating!

Woo hoo!! Go #2!

This is his ready stance.

My favorite, winking at the camera!

Waiting on 2nd base...

The last inning he played catcher.

He was really excited to be in charge of putting the ball on the tee!
