31 for 21: Math Monday

While we were shopping last Friday a guy at Macy's told us that they had bought their 7 year old grandson an Abacus, after he watched Ella add using her fingers. So, today I bought her one! It made her math homework go much faster and she was able to do it pretty independent...until the last few problems when she needed motivation to finish. But, she seemed to enjoy using the beads and it definitely went much faster!
