Pray for Ella

Tomorrow at 7:30am my little Miss Ella is having her adnoid and tonsils out. Just keep her in your thoughts and prayers!

In other news, Ella's speech re-evaluation was completed last week and her scores are great! For her receptive language (what she understands) she scored as a 26 month old ( so what a "typical" 26 month old would understand) which means that she is only 4 months behind! And her expressive language (spoken/signing) she scored at a 22 month level, which puts her at 8 months behind, which for her is totally awesome!!! I looked back at her scores from this time a year ago and she has made a HUGE change!! This time last year she did not know any signs and she didn't say anything. Anyhow, I am super proud of her, and have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE her school???

Speaking of her school, there was an article about it today in the paper and Ella is mentioned in it, here is the link to it...http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2009/mar/19/community-of-compassion/
and there is also a short video on the newspaper's website, here is the link to it...http://www.spokesman.com/video/2009/mar/18/spokane-guilds-school/

Well, that's it for now! I'll update on Ella as soon as I can, probably not till Saturday because we are "more than likely" spending the night at the hospital tomorrow.

I will be thinking and praying for you and Ella for her upcoming surgery.
I'm so glad you warned me about the bugs going around at the school although I was still a little bummed out that we can't join in on the fun at the center!

We will pray for our little blog friend Ella. She is a constant check on the computer, almost as much as Webkinz. My girls still love (almost a year) all of Ella's antics and adventures. They think Hunter has a great job too, to be the big brother of a great girl.

OK Missy - you officially have me a little freaked that the kiddos could potentially not qualify for services. Rebecca was over this weekend and she said it is possible that they wouldn't qualify for therapy even though they would still qualify for preschool. When I asked whats the point of that and not a regular preschool she said that most won't take the kids that aren't potty trained so it might be the only preschool option. Seriously - should Ds be enough.
