Newest Push Toy

FINALLY I have found a push toy that does not fall over on Ella!! Most push toys fall over when she would pull herself up on them, this one does not. I was looking at pictures on Princess Morgan's blog and saw this car toy, just so happens that I won that gift certificate to Babies-R-Us and they had it there!! It has a nice wide stance but the way the legs kick out in the back helps keep Ella's steps from going to wide. I don't know if any of that makes since but I'm excited and thought I would share!!

Yelling for help cause she
is stuck.

When she gets tired she just
sits on one of the legs.

Her hair is almost long enough
to stay in a ponytail!

In other news, Ella's Hip Helpers came in on Saturday. Unfortunatly they are too big. Which is funny cause I was sure that they would be too small. I did the measurements and it said that it was important that they fit around the hips, so I went ahead and ordered the ones that fit her hip measurement but it looked like they would be too small around her belly cause it is a bit bigger than her hips. But, they don't stay up very well. However when she has them on she looks so good!! I was afraid she would just sit and refuse to move cause she can't do the splits to change positions but much to my surprise she didn't seem to mind them, in fact when she walked with them on it all looked much more controlled. So, I guess I need to order the next smaller size, but I'll take them into school with her on Wednesday and let the PT see them first!

That is an awesome walker! I wish I had that one for Preston!

Yeah!!!! Glad you found a walker that works. When Ella gets taller the grocery shopping cart loaded with something heavy works awesome. Ella is doing so great! I wish we lived closer too. Maybe someday we could meet halfway.

Wow, i might have to pick one up. Peepers walks the same way with a walker. Arent the hip helpers a hoot? Biker shorts. I'll call ya tomorrow.

I MISS you guys! Ella is getting so big--I can't believe it! And your pictures really show her personality. :) We had a walker similar to that with Emily and Katy and we loved it...and then we couldn't find the "newer model" for Ian and had to deal through the "tip over" kind. How cool that it's perfect for Ella!

...still no word about us coming to WA. :(

What great photos! She is just SOOO adorable, and she is doing great with that walker; I'm going to have to put that on my shopping list (not that John's anywhere close to walking!)

She is so sweet! That toy is great, it looks nice and sturdy. I love that she can sit down on it and take a break when walking.

Ramble anytime! I appreciate it. It's easier to listen to someone's advice that truly knows what it feels like to have a child with disabilities. Thanks Kacey!

Your Ella is so pretty! This is the very same push toy that got Tristan up and walking.

I love the toy. Noah is starting to stand and take a few steps behind his little wagon. Noah has hip helper's as well, I just sewed the outside of each leg so they were tighter, when he grew I just took out the seam. That is what his PT recommended. Hope that helps.
