Just a quick post to let everyone know that Ella's surgery on her eyes this morning went well. We are home and she is resting and I am holding her arms down. She got to one of her eyes earlier and it made blood poor out of her eye, it was gross and scary looking. Ella is a bit aggitated, tried to get up and walk and kept falling. I don't know if that is from her eye's being blurry/and or double vision as they said could happen for the first week to two weeks or from left over anesthisia. Either way she looks pitiful. But as is her style she is a brave, strong girl!
Also, I posted this on Facebook but have to share, yesterday I was trying to prepare Ella for the surgery and said to her "Ella we have to go see the doctor very early tomorrow morning," to which Ella replies "aww dammit." My thoughts exactly. Gotta love it!
Happy happy happy birthday to my Hunter. You are the most amazing son a mom could ever wish for!!

Laughing histerically about Ella's comment about getting to the Dr. early in the morning! So glad the eye surgery is over with, I hope she recovers quickly!
Oh my goodness! She has certainly got character that one. I'm so glad that her surgery went well. Praying that there are no more scary eye-bleeding episodes though.
I'm laughing hysterically too. I wish Mike had not gone to bed yet. I would have read Ella's comment to him and I know he would bust a gut over it too!

That kid's hilarious! So glad it went well! Ugh, that blood would have made me pass out on the spot.
Happy Birthday, Hunter!
Those pictures are darling!!! What darling little kids. I am glad to hear her surgery went well! I bet you were so scared when you saw the blood... well at least I know I would be, I am a mess when I see blood.
PS I know I am random but I found you through Elastamom and my sister Brittany which by they way she has a boy named Hunter and a girl named Ella. Small world huh?
SO GLAD to hear that she is doing well. We missed you at group and I have been praying for Ella. Makenna had stitches last week in her lip and I was supposed to "keep her from touching them." Ya right, she pulled one out with her tung in a matter of hours and had to go back in to get glued up. I'll pray Ella leaves her eyes alone. Hang in there Mama! Please please let me know if you need anything, Nate is home all week.
love her dammit comment :) glad the surgery went well - i love the pictures you posted of trying to get them to look at you and smile... it is impossible, isn't it???!!!
