- I am a mother to two incredible children. Hunter is 8 years old and Ella Grace is 6 years old. My children are my life, my true joy. My life was turned upside down when my daughter was born and surprised us all by having Down syndrome. Down Syndrome Creed
My face may be different,
but my feelings the same.
I laugh and I cry
and take pride in my gains.
I was sent here among you
to teach and to love
as God in the heavens
looks down from above.
To Him I'm no different,
His love knows no bounds;
It's those here among you,
in cities and towns
that judge me by standards
that man has imparted,
but this family I've choosen
will help me get started.
For I'm one of the children,
so special so few,
that came here to learn
the same lessons as you.
That love is acceptance,
it must come from the heart;
we all have the same purpose,
though not the same start.
The Lord gave me life
to live and embrace,
and I'll do it as you do,
but at my own pace.

Hunter is so handsome. I think Ella looks very different from last year to this year. She looks so grown up now. What a great family! How is Ella doing post surgery?
The pantlegs aren't rolled up this time! She's definitely grown!
They're not the same overalls silly goose. She is so beautiful!!!

The pants don't need rolled up as high! Ella, I give you a 8.5!! Good job!!
Yeah, but they're different overalls! I find that the lengths of pants differ greatly from one to the next, even from the same manufacturer in the same size. I think she looks bigger! :-)

I'm glad we got to know each other at the ARC. Your little girl is so adorable. I'm so glad to hear that she's doing well after her surgery.
She is just such a doll!!
Wow! Ella is growing up so fast! And her hair has gotten so long!
They are adorable! I love when little kids wear overalls. I'll dress Pufferfish in overalls until she's 18, if I can! ;)
