- I am a mother to two incredible children. Hunter is 8 years old and Ella Grace is 6 years old. My children are my life, my true joy. My life was turned upside down when my daughter was born and surprised us all by having Down syndrome. Down Syndrome Creed
My face may be different,
but my feelings the same.
I laugh and I cry
and take pride in my gains.
I was sent here among you
to teach and to love
as God in the heavens
looks down from above.
To Him I'm no different,
His love knows no bounds;
It's those here among you,
in cities and towns
that judge me by standards
that man has imparted,
but this family I've choosen
will help me get started.
For I'm one of the children,
so special so few,
that came here to learn
the same lessons as you.
That love is acceptance,
it must come from the heart;
we all have the same purpose,
though not the same start.
The Lord gave me life
to live and embrace,
and I'll do it as you do,
but at my own pace.

How beautiful are they!! I love the pics by the trees, so pretty! Hunter is such a funny boy, his expression in the one pic is a crack up! Ella has one of the most beautiful smiles ever! Miss you guys and love you bunches--Aunt Tami and family
qqI was excited to see some new pictures of the kiddos. I'm always sad when I stop by and there aren't new pictures of your adorable munchins. I can't believe how fast Ella is adding new skills these days. It amazes me how fast our kids grow and change.

I happened upon your blog through Peggy's (Lucky Number 7) and just adore your pictures. Your children are both absolutly beautiful. The nightgown story is precious, as are the pictures, and I loved the dancing video. So much joy from those radiant smiles. :-)
