Snow Day #2

Well, we are still snowed in. Our road has still not been plowed. Good thing you pay those homeowner association fees huh mom? We took the kids both out to play in the snow today. It didn't start off well, looking back on it and seeing how Ella is this afternoon I don't think she is feeling well at all, when I got her in her little snow suit she was not too thrilled. The end of the sleeves and legs both fold over and she was trying so hard to stand up and couldn't and was so PISSED!! I was trying to get my stuff on so I kept sitting her back up thinking that if she stood she would fall, so there were many tears in the begining.

It pretty much sucked out there. The snow is really deep, but also really dry and sledding was hard. We put the kids in the sled and Chris was pulling them and it just kept sinking down. Finally we made it out to the main road where there were a few tire tracks where some brave soul, obviously with 4 wheel drive, drove. Chris and Hunter went up to the top of the road and tried to sled down in the tire tracks and Chris had to use his arms to pull them along the whole time. Bummer.

Getting ready.

Ha mom, I told
you I could
walk in this!

What is this
white stuff?
Well, Hunter
LOVES the
snow!
Attempting to
be pulled in
the sled.
Happy now that
daddy is carrying her.
GET ME OUT
OF THIS
STUFF!!!
This is an action
shot. No my
camera is not
on the action
setting, they were
going that slow.
Whew, it was
hard work getting
down that hill!
The official, and only
snow removal crew.
If you click on this
to enlarge it, you
will see the most
beautiful eyes in
the world!

Looks like you're making the best of all that white stuff! The kids look like they had a fun time ... well, at least Hunter seems to have had fun! I love the look on Ella's face, sitting in the snow in that snowsuit!

Snow is a pain but it sure is beautiful! We're hoping to get some actual snow here soon, we're tired of sleet and ice!

Looks like it was lots of fun!! I love the shot of Chris and Hunter sledding! The pic of Ella sitting in her snowsuit is typical princess style! Ha! Wish we would have gotten the snow part instead of the ice! We were supposed to get all that snow too, but it all came down as ice and we had an ice rink on our driveway! We literally had 2 inch thick ice over the whole driveway and the trees and everything were coated. It sure looked pretty though. Well, glad everyone had a good time in the snow! We miss you all so much--Love ya's--Aunt Tami and family

They look like they are having a great time together. We haven't had much yet, but I already know that Miss Delphine is not a fan of the cold fluffy white stuff! :)
