Snowed In!!

We are officially snowed in here in Spokane!! All of the schools are closed, the banks, the buses, etc. My mom and Dusty were supposed to be flying home today, getting in at 3, but they are stuck in Seattle and the soonest they can get out is Saturday!! Good thing we didn't have to go pick them up at the airport, our street hasn't been plowed. Last I heard at 1 this afternoon we had gotten 23 inches since yesterday!! It sure is pretty! I took some pics of the outside of the house so Mom and Dusty could see how beautiful the surrondings of their new house look covered in snow : ) I guess we get to pretend this house is ours for another 2 days!
Do you see the road?
Ya, me neither.
This is out the front
door. The cone thing
is a light.

Here is the backyard.

Here is looking
out the window
downstairs.

The van. It was
cleared last night
before bed, so this
was just from
overnight.

So what did we do today?

Hunter read books, like
this one about a new
baby, and decided he wants
another baby. HA HA HA
good thing he doesn't
make the decisions
around here.

Ella ate a black marker,
or at least sucked on it.
Luckily it was washable
and non-toxic.

And me, I sat in front
of the fire. NOT! As
if my children would
ever behave near a
fire, ha.

Here are a few pics that I took yesterday after school!
Notice her shirt says
SMART COOKIE!!
Indeed!

She looks so big in
this pic.

Watching TV with her
baby in her lap.

She was quite fond
of her hat yesterday,
which she is usually not.

Ella's beautiful smile : )

I LOVE the picture of Ella with the baby on her lap with her foot crossed over her leg. Such a girlie girl! :)

Both mine want another baby... the boy wants a brother and the girl wants a sister. Not going to happen tho. ;)

*sigh* I miss snow. Maybe we'll get some this year so Sammi can wear her new (and probably still to remain unworn) snowsuit. Ooh, black marker--that's funny!

Wow! The snow is awesome. I don't know if I've ever seen that much snow (besides on the ski slopes that is..)

And the pics of the kids are great!

Wow! The snow sure looks pretty, although I am not going to like looking at it in about 2 hours! We are supposed to get that same storm system here tonight and it is supposed to be mixed with ice too!! Yea (not)! I hope Brendan doesnt have a snow day tomorrow he is supposed to have all of his xmas parties at school tomorrow! But the weather guys are all saying we are supposed to get 6 to 12 inches! Yuck! I guess we wont have to wonder if we will be having a white Christmas this year! I just love the pigtails little missy has--too cute! Enjoy the snow- we are going to try (I'm sure the kiddos will more than us)! We love ya's--Aunt Tami

We've had a lot of snow down here too but nothing quite like you have had. It looks beautiful! Love the pictures of the kids.

OK My snow days pictures are officially posted. Why is it that yours are beautiful and mine make me cold all over. Sorry your parents are stuck in Seattle... from what I hear the snow and weather is nasty there too. I'm bummed that we don't hav GS tomorrow...Mr and Mrs Clause won't be able to make an appearance.

Aw, your kids are gorgeous! I particularly like the pic of your daughter's I've-just-eaten-a-marker face. That's priceless!
