21 months

Wow, I can't believe it my baby girl is 21 months. That means in 3 months she will be 2??? Oh my goodness!! I was looking through old pictures online tonight and found this bunch of Hunter. He is 21 months in these pictures and this is about 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant with Ella. It makes me a little sad, seeing all the things that Hunter was doing at this age. Anyhow, this is mostly for my family but enjoy these pics.

Wow! It doesnt seem that long ago that Hunter was that small. The last time he was here he was about that age and Ella was just a peanut! It really makes me miss you all even more! It also made me think when you all were here Shaylin was 23 months and turned 2 with you all here! Maybe we will get to celebrate with Ella when she turns 2! Miss you and love you all--Aunt Tami

I can understand your sadness in comparing where Hunter was at 21 months and where Ella is. John and my daughter were born on the same day so I find myself doing the comparisons too. It's hard not to compare, but instead of comparing your two kids, try comparing Ella now to Ella a year ago. Look how much she has accomplished!! Imagine what the next year will bring! She's doing awesome!

It has been quite a journey these last two years hasn't it. You have two beautiful kiddos. So glad we will be around to celebrate Ella turning two.

I agree...it is hard not to compare. I try to focus on just my Baby Girl and forget about growth charts and developmental milestones, etc. Babies are going to do things on their own time so there's no point in focusing on what they are not doing. Ella is doing great. She looks beautiful and happy. Like you, I just realized my baby has grown. She will be 9 months old in 1 week! How time flies. We will be heading to Spokane in September, maybe we can meet if everything works out. My husband grew up there (graduated from Gonzaga Prep in 98) and has family in CDA.
