Rollers

OK, I'm sure some of you will think that I find joy in torturing my poor daughter. I don't know what possess me to do these things. Boredom? Perhaps. After Ella's bath the other night I decided that I would try putting rollers in her hair. So, I turned on Backyardigans OnDemand and she sat still, most of the time, and I set to work. As someone that has naturally curly hair I of course have NO experience using rollers, except one other pathetic attempt when Ella was younger, so my mom had to show me how. Anyhow, here are the pics.

What the heck is in my hair?

I am DONE!!!

The after.

Wooo, her hair has body.

It's hard work being
this beautiful!!

Apparently you are supposed to let the hair dry when it is in the rollers before you take them out. Oops. I'll remember next time : )

ADORABLE!!! Yes, either leave them in overnight or blow dry them. A little mousse beforehand helps too :).

Wow what a little Diva. Do I see a perm in her future? Hee hee can you picture her sitting still for that. Oh ya you are a rat with the beautful curls for those of if with sad straight hair perms are things our mothers did to us to torture us and make us look like little orphan Annie.

OMG-this is so funny, and she's just so darn cute! I've been trying for ages to get Samantha to sit still long enough for me to french braid her hair, but she's always on the go.

She has such beautiful blond hair! I just love it more and more! She is so lucky, some of us pay good money to get hair that beautiful color! Ha! I havent yet been brave enough to put rollers in Shay's hair, but I have curled it with an iron and it turned out really pretty. Her hair turned out really cute, but of course it did she is just an adorable girl! We miss you bunches and love you more--Aunt Tami and family

Oh my goodness, what a cutiepie! I remember my mom rolling my hair up in curlers. I don't know if Georgia will EVER have the patience. What a good little girl!

She's just adorable. And SO patient! *chuckle* I can remember doing rollers in my daughters' hair. Margret's was straight as sticks, and came uncurled very quickly. Rose and Helen had better luck, having a little wave to start with. Flora was too busy as a baby to let me do much with her hair.

Oh so cute! And what a little beauty queen! I can't wait until Natasha's hair gets long enough for me to do that. Hehehe. Right now she is sporting a combover. The hair on top is about 5 inches long & the sides are about 2. =) Maybe it's time for a trim and some styling.
