Woo-hoo

My computer is back up and running!!! We have been really busy the past couple of days trying to get moved to my mom's house, all of our furniture is in storage, thanks to Justin and Mary for your help! We will be all moved in by Saturday.

I hauled Ella back into the pediatricians today, her reflux has kind of kicked itself into high gear. This morning she spit up but it was thick and she started gasping for air and I had to suction it out of her nose. Ugh. Her constipation is back after a brief time of being able to poop everyday, her little bum bleeds when she poops (more than you wanted to know I'm sure.) So, the official report from her Echo cardiogram came in and all was well except for the PDA, which looks small. Now her peds are wanting us to see a GI doctor, have a small bowel study and of course see a cardiologist. They are thinking she may have Hirshprungs disease, which of course has me worried. The doctor said if that is the case that it may be contributing to her reflux, as her stool backs up she is not able to digest her food quickly and combined with her low muscle tone it comes back up. So now I get to wait around for those tests.

I wanted to clarify something from my last post, I said that I hate Texas, which is true, but it's just the place I hate. While we lived in Texas we met some very wonderful people (Mrs Deena) that of course never would have been in our lives if we didn't live there!!!

Last week I took the kids out to take some pictures. I have been reminded living here how much I love fall. We went up by a park, the houses around there are older and beautiful with all of these great trees! I'll split the pictures up into two posts, so here is the first round....

Love the pictures. We went up to Greenbluff, north of Spokane, on Sunday and I so badly wanted to get a great family picture with the leaves and the fall colors but the boys were tired and it didn't work. Oh well. I love the one of Hunter in the leaves. And Ella tossing the leaves is great. You have adorable kids!

GREAT pics.

Will be looking forward to hearing about the testing/possible Hirschprung's. Georgia has some similar symptoms. Good luck!

What wonderful pictures! Seriously, those came out great!

Hirschprung's disease is scary-sounding for sure. When Katy was having trouble (around age 2 was when it really got bad), they sent us to Cook's and did a biopsy to check for that very thing! I'll be praying for her and you guys...that's a lot of appointments and a lot of information to consider all at once.
Love ya!

OH MY GOODNESS...I adore these pics...the one of Hunter could be on a poster. Thanks for telling us about your struggle with the docs and issues. We are praying for you.

Love the pics!! They look like they had a good time in those leaves! I just cant get over what a beautiful boy Hunter is turning into! He was always adorable, but now that he is turning into a boy now he is just beautiful! I love that smile on Ella's face, even her eyes are smiling!! We love ya's--Aunt Tami and family

Your children are beautiful! I'm glad you are enjoying fall...I live in Ohio and I can't imagine being in a place without the 4 season! Although winter could be a little shorter. Good luck with Ella's testing...poor baby. Constipation and reflux don't feel good at all!

love the fall pictures! I got the boots at target awhile back and what are AFO's? Sometimes I feel like I need to know more and that our therapists should be working on more after I see all that you are doing.

We use to live on Mansfield next to Corbin park. Love Spokane! Now we are in Bellingham, really nice too.

It is with a heavy heart that I read Miss Ella might have Hirschsprung's Disease. Tommy has it and I cannot tell you how much more difficult it is than Ds. I will keep your family in my prayers that you receive an accurate diagnosis.

Tommy takes Prevacid daily for reflux. Miralax and Senna too! Daily poops are our only expectation of his day. :) The rest is pure joy, giggles and smiles.

Sure wish our paths would cross so we could meet each other in person.

Hey Kacey-
We live with HD here...we had a really really successful and easy surgery to correct it, though. My prayers for Ella that she doesn't have it...but know that there are lots and lots of success stories, too.

And as always, I love the photos of your kids!!!
